Practical Guideline for Сold Storage

"Practical Guideline for Products Сold Storage" is developed for farmers and everyone who is interested in storing fruits and vegetables in cold rooms. The guideline, prepared in Uzbek language, provides a review of critical concepts in cold storage, which is an important part of the process of delivering agricultural products from fields to final consumers. The guideline offers a description of important parts of cold rooms, and covers key postharvest and cold storage practices, specific characteristics of products, product compatibility and provides recommendations on pre-cooling and storing. The guideline is developed in the framework of the "Aid for Trade" component of a joint project of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Nations Development Programme in Uzbekistan "Promoting Foreign Trade and Investment Promotion in Uzbekistan."
