We couldn’t go through such interesting information not to share with our readers. Although this information about the forests of Ukraine is not important to us.
So read on
In most cases it is possible to find a substitute for wood, the scarcity of which increases from year to year, but the forest is not and cannot be as a living organism, which is an integral part of the biosphere. Here we present some figures and facts that allow us to objectively assess the benefits of afforestation, as well as their impact on our lives.
• Humidity in forests and even urban parks is 15-30% higher than on green streets.
• In hot weather, the air temperature in the forest is 4-8 degrees lower than in the open field. (How important are these two to our arid climate! And why are we so diligently cutting down trees in the city ?!)
• 2.5-7 nitrogen leaches from each hectare of unprotected cropland in forests and forest zones. phosphorus is 2-6, and potassium is 3-5 times more than in protected fields.
• During drought and dust storms, 1 hectare of forest belts with a height of 10 m protects an area of 25-30 hectares and provides a 3-fold increase in grain yield in each of them, even in unfavorable years . -4 centners, and 75-120 centners in the whole protected area ... (We are shouting and talking about it everywhere - write the word "forest belts" in the search bar of our website. Farmers do not want to plant forest belts for many reasons. They do not benefit. This is very clear)
It was found that 1 hectare of forest is stored annually for dust, heat and burns:
• spruce - 30 tons.
• Pine - 35t.
• Mother-in-law-70 t.
• Beech -68 tons (is it interesting to know how much dust our forests - desert, coastal, mountain, urban plants hold?)
Ukraine occupies 9.4 million hectares of the entire forest and vegetation part of the earth, which annually absorbs 206 million tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and emits 149 million tons of oxygen;
• 1 ha - 20-year-old pine forest: emits oxygen - 7.3 tons, absorbs carbon dioxide - 9.4 tons;
• 1 hectare - 60-year-old pine forest: emits oxygen - 10.9 tons, absorbs carbon dioxide - 14.4 tons;
• 1 ha - 40-year-old oak plantation: emits oxygen -14.0 t, absorbs carbon dioxide - 18.0 t; (So far no one in our country takes this into account, because environmental services in our country are not yet worth the money)
An average of 1 hectare of Ukrainian forests per year:
• Releases 4 tons of oxygen;
• Consumes 5t. carbon dioxide.
• 1 cubic meter of wood - an average of 500 kg of adsorbed acids;
• 1 hectare of pine forest during the growing season - 450 kg of phytocides, ie. essential oils, balms, volatile vitamins, resins, tannins and aromatic substances.
• 1 hectare of spruce produces 30 kg of phytoncides per day;
• 1 deciduous forest evaporates an average of 2,500-3,000 tons of water into the atmosphere during the growing season, while a beech forest evaporates 5,000 tons.

Let's protect our forests ... Any tree is a living organism. A botanist recently told me that any tree, any plant, screams from ultrasound waves when it is sawed or cut. Scientists have tried this by recording all the sounds of plants at different frequencies. Trees and all plants are just as painful as humans. For some reason we decided that they were not alive and that we could abuse them as much as we wanted. For some reason, it has become customary to make fun of trees during the holida
