Attention to farmers and villagers of foothills in Andijan, Namangan and Ferghana provinces!

On 11 July 2014 in collaboration with partners is holding free training seminar in Andijan on the topic: "How to create pistachio plantations - a new cost-effective solution for the effective use of dry lands in the Ferghana Valley."

Event is organized by the Farmers Council of Uzbekistan, Small Grants Programme of the Global Environment Facility (GEF SGP) with the support of UNDP in Uzbekistan, Succow Fund and Republican Scientific-Production Center of ornamental horticulture and forestry.
Participants will learn the technology of growing pistachio on dry land, get the necessary literature. The farmers from Andijan, Namangan and Ferghana regions, as well as representatives of ministries and government agencies, educational institutions, mass media representatives are kindly invited to attend the seminar. Participation is free of charge and not obligatory.
We kindly ask you to assist us in disseminating this information among farmers of the foothills in the Ferghana Valley, as well as among other stakeholders.
