The platform was held, as usual, in a very lively mode. This was already the 9th platform in the row, and the 3rd platform under the new brand - Green Development Platform.

This time the meeting was devoted to the issues of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Two presentations were made:

The analysis also took into account the option of a possible tandem of a heat pump and a solar photovoltaic station to supply the heat pump with electricity.

Issues of implementing resource conservation standards in the textile industry and the construction materials industry (in English).

The first presentation summarized the results of the GEF SGP project to demonstrate an alternative for heating rural secondary schools, with a transition from coal to electricity. The results of the economic analysis are posted for everyone's attention here.

The second presentation was made based on the experience of the GIZ project "Green Industrialization in Uzbekistan".

The meeting was organized jointly with the above-mentioned GIZ project, and already a regular partner for holding the Green Platform - UEnter, the Center for Innovative Entrepreneurship.

The participants of the meeting were greeted by the Minister of Sports of Uzbekistan - Mr. Adham Ikramov, and the UNDP Resident Representative in Uzbekistan - Ms. Akiko Fujii.
