How little Victoria made bricket press in 1 hour

It was in the middle of September, about the 15th day, in the morning, exactly it was today, when small Victoria decided to make a present to the planet Earth. Stop! It’s enough! We should stop using cars, cut off the trees for timbers and exploit the nature. Today I must help her!
And the first thing which Victoria decided to do today was to make a fuel bricket.

For those who don’t know, this is pressed biological mass or waste product of certain form. Making of fuel brickets appeared in the 19th century and for the recent time it has spread widely worldwide. The main reason is energetic crisis which forced people to look for available replacement for hydrocarbon fuel, as well as environmental problems which are the consequence of lavish use of natural resources.

At the beginning she started to manage the assembling of bricket press, a sort of a mechanism which helps to make a fuel bricket. All that is needed is to connect wooden bars with each other by scheme. Therefore, Victoria coped with it perfectly. This task took her about 45 minutes.

Next was the most interesting part – making a base for future fuel brickets. What materials they can be made of? It could be everything: weeds, leaves and small plants’ branches, sawdust, livestock waste, organic household rubbish. But please, don’t use glass, plastic packages, aluminum tins, plastic mass as material, but I think anyone can understand it. Victoria preferred sawdust as material, having mixed it with water beforehand, and made substance like porridge. It was so joyful!!!

Next Victoria filled a metal cylinder with this “porridge”, put machine under the press and started jumping on the handle. Here you should not be overdiligent so that the wooden base of the machine would not break.

Less than hour passed when the first fuel bricket appeared in Victoria’s small skilful hands. She put it for drying in the sun. And after that she can heat the stove and prepare tasty food.

Do you want to know why fuel bricket is so good? Let’s count…

1m3 of timbers is equal to 500 kg of fuel brickets. If 1m3 of timbers is equal to 40 thousand of sums, then you can save 40 thousand of sums while preparing of 500 kg of fuel brickets.
This day was successful for Victoria – she worked hard and helped nature!
Preparing of fuel brickets is simple! This could be done even by children! And you can do even more! Just do it!
