in Uzbekistan

This publication presents the results of the implementation of the Regional project "In situ / On farm conservation and use of agrobiodiversity (fruit crops and their wild relatives) in Central Asia".

The project is implemented in 5 countries - Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and is coordinated by Bioversity International with financial support from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and technical support from the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).

These recommendations are designed as practical guides for use by forestry, farms and tenants in the cultivation of pistachio in Tajikistan. These recommendations are also applicable when creating pistachio plantations in Uzbekistan.
