The circle is organized by the Tashkent Regional Committee for Nature Protection, the Tashkent Regional Department of Public Education, the Tashkent Regional Department of Secondary Specialized, Vocational Education, the Tashkent Regional Department of the Ecological Movement of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent Department of the Kamolot MSD, the Tashkent Regional Department for Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Association of NNOs in Uzbekistan.

The goals of creating the circle include:

• improvement of the system of continuous environmental education and upbringing;

• formation of environmental awareness and enhancing the ecological culture of students, respect for the natural environment;

• more effective and useful spending of youth's free time;

• involvement of students of secondary schools, secondary specialized and vocational colleges, academic lyceums and higher educational institutions in monitoring the compliance of individuals and legal entities with environmental legislation and public environmental control over the state of the environment and rational use of natural resources;

• education of civil responsibility for the state of the environment;

• increasing the efficiency of environmental protection;

• formation and development of a system of public environmental control.

The tasks of the circle include:

• involvement of scientists, representatives of environmental organizations, teaching staff and environmental NNOs in the development of a system of continuous environmental education and upbringing of the younger generation;

• annual organization among teachers and students of educational institutions of the Tashkent region of the competition "Best Ecologist-Teacher of the Year" and "Best Ecologist-Student of the Year";

• rendering assistance to students of specialized educational institutions in carrying out laboratory work on the basis of the laboratories of the Tashkent Regional Committee for Nature Protection, as well as organizing methodological assistance in the preparation of diploma and term papers on environmental topics;

• organization of short-term practical training courses for teaching staff by scientists, employees of environmental organizations and representatives of environmental NNOs in the field of environmental education;

• provision of educational institutions with publications on environmental topics. Organization of free provision to the participants of the Circle of the periodical ecological publication of the Tashkent Regional Committee for Nature Protection "Ekomuvozanat";

• creation of "living corners".

The circle is enrolled in September, but additional enrollment may be carried out throughout the year.

A member of the circle - a young ecologist undertakes:

• comply with the requirements of environmental legislation;

• attend classes and constantly improve their knowledge of the environment;

• participate in organized environmental events and promote environmental knowledge among the population;

• actively participate in public control over the environment, cooperate with state bodies for nature protection.

The circle operates all year round. Members of the Circle, if they wish, can participate in environmental events organized during the holidays.
