New life in a new area

The beginning of a free population

In 2010, the PMGEF project “Biodiversity Conservation, Restoration of Desert Biocenoses and Environmental Education in the South-West Kyzylkum of the Bukhara-Karaulbazar Region” and with the direct participation of the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex and the Coordination Center in the new Jayron Eco-Center were built. After construction, 12 Przewalski's horses and 7 ashes were adapted there. In August 2012, they were all released from prison.

Despite the weight of the year, the horses made us happy with their baby. He was probably born after a poll conducted on October 4-6, 2013. We celebrate the baby regularly with the whole family during the observations.

It should be noted that free populations of Przewalski's horses are currently available only in Mongolia, China, Ukraine and Hungary.

The great love, professionalism, care and continuous work of the scientists and staff of the eco-center are bearing fruit. And these fruits are sometimes very funny
