A little about how our training was held in Namangan.
Biogas
The first was biogas training. At the beginning of the training there were just over 20 people. By the end, there were already 40. There were also women (4 in total).

We started traditionally. Shown at the presentations what biogas is. People asked questions.
- Presentation on biogas technology (attention! File size 11 MB)
- Video for presentation on biogas technology
- Presentation on the construction of biogas in the Syrdarya region (attention! File size 11 MB)
Then Pulat (a low-carbon development project) showed on a model what and how it works. Everyone gathered around the model. Everyone is terribly interested in seeing, not just listening.

Pulat for an explanation of what and how is presented on the layout

everything around the layout ... it's better to see once than hear a hundred times
Then we ran a quiz asking questions about what was just said. This helps the organizers get feedback on how the audience understood everything that was said. And listeners - have a little fun, competing in their answers.

We gave small prizes: T-shirts of thePMGEF , notebooks and the film "Date with the Planet", which is available in Russian and Uzbek languages. It turned out to be quite fun. We advise everyone to use this feedback method.

A small prize - but a lot of joy :)
If at least one farmer makes an installation after our training, we will consider that we have exceeded our goal tenfold. This kind of seminar is the first step in the dissemination of this technology in the Namangan region.
We remind you. that the PMGEF aims to deliver at least one demonstration biogas plant in each region of Uzbekistan. We will be happy to work with those areas where there are no installations yet. Because farmers in each region should have a chance to travel nearby and feel with their hands what a biogas plant is, how to build it and how to care for it. So far, such installations are in Syrdarya, Khorezm, Kashkadarya and Tashkent regions.
Below we present the first version of the business plan for your attention. The business plan was prepared for us by NNO KRASS. Everyone can take it, put their numbers in the Excel spreadsheet, fill out a business plan template (text) and go to the bank to get a loan.
- download the text of the model business plan
- download a table with model calculations for a business plan
Attention! Biogas is a means of having a stable source of energy for the successful development of your business. It pays off through other activities. But I must say. that everywhere abroad, biogas plants pay off very quickly, primarily through the sale of high-quality fertilizers. which is obtained as a product of the operation of the installation.
A fish
The fish training was more relaxed, but there was more interest from the participants. Those who are already engaged in fish came, so everyone was very interested.
4 presentations were made, in which they told in great detail how to properly organize a fish farm. I think the presentations speak for themselves.
We present the presentations for your attention below.
- Part 1. WHAT FISHERIES IS NECESSARY IN UZBEKISTAN?
- Part 2. TYPES OF AQUACULTURE SYSTEMS SUITABLE FOR UZBEKISTAN
- Part 3. APPROACHES TO THE ORGANIZATION OF THE FISH FACILITIES
- Part 4. FACILITIES PROSPECTIVE FOR INTENSIVE FISHING IN UZBEKISTAN
We urge everyone to start fishing!
Once again, we express our gratitude to 2 other nursing projects, thanks to which we were able to do this together:
• PROON and Ministry of Economy project on low-carbon development, and
• component “Trade facilitation” of the PROON and MVESIT A project “Facilitating foreign trade and attracting investment in Uzbekistan”
